Job summary

Eurofins is hiring a GMP Laboratory Technician for the evening shift in Missouri. The role requires up to two years of lab experience, an appropriate science degree, and the ability to work in a GMP environment.

You will perform seed train, bioreactor operations, and purification steps, while ensuring data integrity and safety compliance. This position offers full-time hours with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BS/BA in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry or equivalent.
• 0 to 2+ years of laboratory or manufacturing experience in bioprocess or chemical process environments.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Maintains a safe work environment.
• Demonstrated teamwork in a matrix development environment.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Set up, execution and evaluation of GMP manufacturing unit operations (seed train, bioreactors, centrifugation, filtration, chromatography, UF/DF, conjugation, lyophilization).
• CIP, SIP, aseptic sampling, parts washing, documentation, work orders and data entry/evaluation.
• Perform routine analytical, compendial, and general laboratory testing in a GMP environment.
• Collaborate with laboratory and cross-functional teams to support testing timelines and operations.
• Review and evaluate analytical data for accuracy, completeness and compliance.

Eurofins PSS is looking for new team members for our team to help support and join our diverse team to help assist on scale up and manufacturing of mammalian and microbial fermentation/purification processes for clinical and toxicology supplies.

• Duties and responsibilities will include:
  • Set up, execution and evaluation of GMP manufacturing unit operations such as seed train, bioreactors/fermenters, centrifugation, filtration, chromatography, UF/DF, conjugation and lyophilization.
  • CIP, SIP, aseptic sampling, parts washing, documentation, work order generation, and data entry/evaluation.
  • Willrequirecommunication andinteraction with various groups and leaders in collaboration!
  • Perform routine analytical, compendial, and general laboratory testing in a GMP-regulated environment.
  • Conduct testing using techniques such as pH, appearance, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and other applicable analytical methods.
  • Follow approved SOPs, test methods, specifications, and laboratory procedures.
  • Operate, maintain, and perform routine checks of laboratory instruments and equipment as required.
  • Accurately document testing activities and results in accordance with GMP and data integrity requirements.
  • Review and evaluate analytical data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established requirements.
  • Support sample preparation, testing, documentation, and laboratory investigations, as applicable.
  • Maintain compliance with GMP, safety, quality, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with laboratory and cross-functional teams to support testing timelines and laboratory operations.

• Associate's degreeor BS/BA in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry or equivalent.
• Requires a minimum 0 to 2+ years of experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment (bioprocess or chemical process industry).
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Maintains a safe work environment
• Demonstrated capability to work as a team member in a matrix development team
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office required, especially MS Word, MS Excel.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in a Biological Pilot Plant or Commercial Manufacturing setting is desired.
• Knowledge of fermentation and or downstream processing techniques.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 40 lbs and stand for 8-hour shift.

Positions are full-time, Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Chesterfield, MO are encouraged to apply.
