Job summary

Bionique Testing Laboratories LLC is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support quality control, sterility control, and safety initiatives in a GMP laboratory. You will maintain a clean, sanitary environment, follow SOPs, manage inventory, document activities, and report deviations to ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires independent work, adherence to timelines, and effective communication with teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized cleaning tasks in GMP areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waste disposal, recycling, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces, equipment and rooms, according to schedules and SOPs.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and wear PPE when required.
• Wash, dry, and sterilize glassware and distribute to appropriate locations; may sterilize items with an autoclave.
• Record all cleaning activities to maintain a clear audit trail.
• Operate laboratory support equipment and perform maintenance according to SOPs and training.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs.
• Receive and stock assigned areas with laboratory supplies and reagents.
• Report maintenance issues or unusual situations to supervisors.
• Coordinate cleaning schedules with Quality, lab personnel, Administration, and Facilities.
