Job summary

Bionique Testing Laboratories LLC is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support quality control, sterility control and safety in a GMP environment at the Saranac Lake, NY facility. You will clean, sanitize, manage inventory, document activities and follow SOPs to ensure site cleanliness and compliance.

The role requires independent work, adherence to timelines, and clear communication with teams. Training runs 9AM–5PM; after training, some evening shifts may be required to align with lab

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning experience in a GMP, laboratory, or other sterile environment preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks under deadline pressure.
• Able to adapt quickly to change and maintain organization.
• Proficient reading, writing, and comprehension of safety procedures and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning in GMP areas including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waste disposal, and disinfecting surfaces and equipment according to SOPs.
• Record all cleaning activities and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Operate designated laboratory support equipment and perform basic maintenance per schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to supervisors.
• Collaborate with Quality, lab personnel, Administration and Facilities to coordinate cleaning schedules.
