Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Lab Tech I to support quality control activities in a GMP laboratory, coordinating sample receipt and testing, entering data, and performing routine analytical testing of pharmaceutical products.

The role involves operating basic instrumentation, interpreting test data, and maintaining accuracy and reliability of QC results. Candidates should have 0–3 years of lab experience and a relevant degree.

Qualifications

• The candidate has 0–3 years of laboratory experience, preferably in a GMP setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or biochemistry or related science is required.
• Attention to detail and accurate data entry are essential.
• Ability to work on-site in a GMP lab and follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt, labeling, and tracking of samples for timely processing.
• Perform routine analytical testing on pharmaceutical products.
• Operate basic lab instruments: balances, carbon analyzers, spectrophotometers, pH meters.
• Enter test data into laboratory systems accurately and securely.
• Interpret data to identify potential issues and deviations.
• Follow GMP procedures and maintain proper documentation.
• Keep workspace clean, organized, and safe.
• Troubleshoot basic instrumentation and escalate when needed.
• Communicate results and sample status to team members.
