Job summary

Medical Devices Company is seeking a Lab Technician in Covington, GA on a 6-month contract with a 1st shift schedule, 40 hours/week. Pay rate is $26/hour on W2 contract. Responsibilities include product testing in the complaint laboratory, supporting Quality and Project teams, and ensuring GMP/GLP compliance.

Candidates should have a science-related degree and 1–3 years in a regulated environment. The role requires attention to detail, ability to work in a biohazard environment, and familiarity

Qualifications

• Technical or Associate degree in a science field is a plus.
• Experience in a regulated lab environment is desirable.
• ASQ certification (CQE, CQA, CQM) is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup, etc.)
• 1–3 years of experience in a regulated industry.

Responsibilities

• Represents the Corporation, Division and Quality Department in a professional manner.
• Provides support to Project Teams and Quality Department.
• Responsible for all product testing in the Complaint Laboratory.
• Provides Quality Engineering technical support to resolve quality issues.
• Performs complaint investigations for all UCC and OEM products.
• Creates investigation files in Trackwise.
• Sets up, operates, and maintains laboratory equipment and testing instruments.
• Performs tests and experiments in GMP/GLP.
• Maintains knowledge of ISO and FDA requirements.
• Ensures compliance to Department and Division procedures.
