Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Laboratory Metrology & Software Systems Supervisor to lead calibration and software system administration within a GMP environment. You will ensure instruments are calibrated, maintained, and compliant, supporting QC and Analytical Development with reliable data and timely testing.

Reporting to the Quality & Compliance Manager, you will coordinate metrology activities, instrument lifecycle, CAPA-driven investigations, and vendor oversight, while mentoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Metrology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Quality, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years in laboratory metrology, calibration, instrumentation, or a regulated environment.
• Experience with GMP calibration programs, equipment lifecycle management, and regulatory inspections is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead GMP metrology and calibration programs and oversee lab software system administration.
• Coordinate calibration, preventive maintenance, and lifecycle management of instruments.
• Investigate out-of-tolerance conditions and perform root cause analysis with CAPAs.
• Ensure data integrity, traceability, and inspection readiness across QC and AD teams.
• Manage external service providers and ensure supplier performance meets requirements.
• Provide leadership and development for Metrology personnel and Software System Administrators.
