  • Monitor critical laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure compliance with qualification, maintenance and calibration schedules, initiation of service requests and escorting vendors.
  • Assist with coordination of set up and qualification activities for new assets.
  • Assist with OOT investigations in the Asset Management System.
  • Assist with maintenance and monitoring of stability environmental chambers, including routine visual inspection, temperature monitoring trending and coordination of cleaning and maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Must have a BS in molecular biology, biochemistry, or related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of cGMP, FDA and EMA GMP regulation and ICH guidance documents.
  • Experienced in GMP regulated drug development environment.
  • LIMS is a huge plus.
  • Lab instrument/equipment related experience (coordination of calibration/maintenance activities)
  • Has had more involvement in management of lab equipment within a GMP environment (coordinator of services) and review and processing of documentation (i.e calibration).

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
