Job summary

Amgen is seeking an Instrumentation Technician to join the Facilities & Engineering team in Thousand Oaks. You will perform calibration, installation, maintenance and repair of process control instruments across the site, documenting and ensuring GMP compliance.

You will troubleshoot equipment, communicate status to operators, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to continuous improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with instrumentation, calibration and metrology programs.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance with sanitary processing equipment.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs and technical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration, maintenance, installation, repair and troubleshooting of instruments and equipment across process control and building systems.
• Complete quality and safety documentation per GMPs, SOPs and Amgen policies.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment; communicate status to operators and stakeholders.
