Job summary

Perspective Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Engineer to manage lifecycle activities for GMP production and lab equipment in a new radiopharmaceutical facility.

You will support commissioning, qualification, startup, and turnover, while establishing maintenance and calibration programs to ensure validated, reliable operations. You will develop preventive maintenance strategies, work with external vendors, and ensure equipment stays in a validated state throughout its lifecycle,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering/technical discipline; mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of facilities-related experience in a cGMP facility; setup mechanic experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Familiarity with standard hand and power tools used in maintenance tasks.
• Working knowledge of cGMP requirements and maintenance documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine preventive maintenance on production, QC, and safety equipment (isolators, synthesis modules, HPLCs, gamma counters, fume hoods, biosafety cabinets).
• Troubleshoot equipment performance, calibration, and commissioning/qualification issues.
• Respond to alarms and resolve issues with guidance as needed.
• Manage maintenance work requests in CMMS with logs, materials, and labor hours.
• Prepare and execute change controls, commissioning/validation protocols, and GMP-compliant documentation.
• Support investigations for equipment or facility deviations and root-cause analyses.
