GMP Environmental Services in Nashville, TN is seeking an operator to perform thorough cleaning and sanitation across manufacturing sites, food processing, and pharmaceutical environments. You will follow site procedures, document nightly activities, and ensure audit-ready conditions. The role requires industrial cleaning experience, stamina to lift and move heavy objects, and a safety-first mindset.

This contract-to-hire position offers a nightly 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial cleaning/custodial work (manufacturing preferred).
• Understanding of sanitation practices for food production or manufacturing.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy items throughout the shift.
• Detail orientation and a safety-first mindset.
• Reliable teamwork and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize machinery, floors, walls, and production areas using the right tools and solutions.
• Apply sanitation procedures that align with strict health and safety regulations (including GMP contexts).
• Maintain janitorial inventory; store and care for all equipment properly.
• Handle waste, recycling, and hazardous materials in accordance with procedures.
• Perform heavy lifting to move equipment and supplies safely.
• Follow nightly schedules and complete documentation accurately.
• Collaborate with the team to uphold a culture of safety and cleanliness.
