Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking an Environmental Monitoring technician to support GMP viral therapy production. The role involves aseptic cell culture, product purification, and coordinating EM equipment with QC teams to ensure manufacturing processes run smoothly.

The candidate should have lab experience and 1–3 years in cgTP clinical production, with strong documentation, time management and communication skills. On-site work in Austin, TX is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences preferred.
• Basic lab experience with a Bachelor's or intermediate lab experience in a cgTP clinical production environment.
• Lab experience preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Participates in Environmental Monitoring as part of GMP viral therapy production.
• Cell culture and product purification using aseptic technique when required.
• Coordinates EM equipment needs with QC EM team for Manufacturing processes.
• Drafts, completes and revises manufacturing documents including Batch Records and EM forms.
• Buffer and component preparation including operation of steam autoclave.
• Operates manual, semi-automated and automated equipment for routine clinical production.
• Operates Environmental Monitoring equipment such as Solairs, ApexZ50, active counters.
