Job summary

BioTechnique offers engineering internships providing hands-on exposure to a GMP‑regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Interns support equipment, facilities, and utility systems, while gaining experience with documentation, data collection, and project support.

Interns observe and assist with troubleshooting, maintenance, and improvement initiatives, following established procedures and safety practices. A strong willingness to learn and collaborate is essential.

Qualifications

• Currently a rising senior or junior pursuing a degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Must be local to York, PA.
• Part-time availability of 8-15 hours per week throughout the academic semesters.
• Excellent communication and collaborative teamwork abilities.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• No C2C at this time.

Responsibilities

• Support Engineering and Validation teams with equipment, facility, and utility-related projects in a regulated biotech manufacturing environment.
• Assist with documentation activities, including data collection, report formatting, and controlled document updates (e.g., SOPs, protocols, logs).
• Support equipment installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities under supervision.
• Assist with data analysis and trending related to equipment performance, environmental conditions, or process improvements.
• Participate in commissioning, qualification, or validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ support) as appropriate to project scope.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Validation, Quality, and Operations.
• Maintain GMP compliance, safety, and company procedures at all times.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and proposing process enhancements.
