Job summary

BioTechnique, a sterile injectable CDMO, is seeking an engineering intern to gain hands-on experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment, supporting equipment, facilities, and utility systems. You will observe and assist with documentation, data collection, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement, while collaborating with Engineering, Validation, Quality, and Operations teams.

Qualifications

• Rising senior or junior pursuing an engineering degree.
• Local to York, PA.
• Part-time availability during academic semesters (8–15 hrs/week).
• Excellent communication and collaborative teamwork abilities.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• No C2C arrangement at this time.

Responsibilities

• Support Engineering and Validation teams with equipment, facility, and utility-related projects in a regulated biotech manufacturing environment.
• Assist with documentation activities, including data collection, report formatting, and controlled document updates (e.g., SOPs, protocols, logs).
• Support equipment installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities under supervision.
• Assist with data analysis and trending related to equipment performance, environmental conditions, or process improvements.
• Participate in commissioning, qualification, or validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ support) as appropriate to project scope.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Validation, Quality, and Operations.
• Maintain compliance with GMP, safety, and company procedures at all times.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and proposing process enhancements.
