Job summary

Abbott in Lake Bluff, IL, seeks a Housekeeping Associate to support the manufacturing and research environment in the Global Engineering Services group. This role requires following GMP, SOPs, safety guidelines and completes daily cleaning across laboratories and common areas.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and comprehend written information including GMP documents and safety guidelines.
• Must be able to complete accurate written records in compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Must be able to operate a computer to access training, download work instructions, and document work in CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility cleaning and support in manufacturing and research environments.
• Adhere to GMP, SOP, DEA, OSHA, DEP and Abbott standards.
• Operate cleaning equipment and autoclave-prep tasks for regulated areas.
• Complete GMP documentation and logs; maintain attestation records and work orders.
• Support recycling programs and waste handling in production and lab areas.
