Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a GMP Cleaning Associate for the second shift to maintain sterile manufacturing areas in a compliant and safe manner. You will clean GMP manufacturing spaces, labs, and warehouses, following SOPs and company policies, and ensure proper gowning and PPE usage.

The role requires 1-3 years of GMP cleaning experience in pharma/biotech, ability to wear protective gowns and respirators, and the physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

• Clean room sanitization experience (plus)

• Stock and stage usable garments for multiple gowning rooms

• Maintain accurate and complete inventory of cleaning supplies to prevent depletion
• Work safely and effectively in accordance with all applicable rules and regulations
• Perform other tasks/duties as assigned by management

GMP Cleaning Associate (second shift). Perform professional cleaning of GMP manufacturing clinical and commercial areas. Maintain cleanliness in production, lab, and warehouse areas while adhering to safety and quality standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform sanitary cleaning activities per established operating procedures and as directed by Manager/Supervisor
• Stock and stage usable garments for multiple gowning rooms
• Maintain accurate and complete records
• Attend and complete all required training per company SOPs, procedures, and policies
• Maintain accurate and complete inventory of cleaning supplies to prevent depletion
• Work safely and effectively in accordance with all applicable rules and regulations
• Perform other tasks/duties as assigned by management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-3 years' experience in sterile or GMP cleaning operations within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
• Ability to don and wear cleanroom/protective gowning and equipment (e.g., gowning, goggles, face shields, protective gloves)
• Ability to wear a respirator during use of certain cleaning chemicals
• Ability to operate in ISO Class/Grade clean rooms
• Occasionally lift/move up to 40 pounds
• Squat, bend, kneel, and/or reach for 80% of a shift
• Stand/walk/move about for 80% of a shift
