Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to support 2nd shift operations (2:00pm–12:30am) in our sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. You will perform bulk manufacturing tasks, read SOPs, and document steps in cGMP-compliant records.

The role requires HS diploma (or equivalent), and either 0–1 year sterile pharma experience or 1–3 years for higher levels, with basic math and good communication.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred: 0–1 year of sterile pharmaceutical operation.
• Associate degree or higher in science/technical fields preferred.

Job description

2nd shift (2:00pm–12:30am) Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Responsibilities

• Perform bulk manufacturing operations: equipment cleaning, equipment set-up, equipment/automation operation, batch processing.
• Read and follow detailed SOPs/procedures and document operations according to cGMP.
• Perform sample collection, equipment/process monitoring, and minor maintenance.
• Maintain training proficiency via the Learning Management System.
• Write and review SOPs and cGMP documentation.
• Perform facility/equipment cleaning and set-up; assist with development activities and validation as required.
• Abide by safety requirements; work independently and in a team environment; follow internal policies.
• Other tasks as assigned; shift coverage and weekend work may be required.

Knowledge/Skills

• General math skills (simple algebra).
• Adherence to Current Good Manufacturing Practices; knowledge of HAZCOM, RCRA, and other safety requirements.
• Mechanical aptitude for minor non-routine adjustments and diagnosing equipment.
• Basic computer word processing/spreadsheet skills.
• Good written communication and excellent documentation skills.
• Ability to gown in an aseptic manner for clean room operations.

  • HS diploma or equivalent.

  • HS diploma or equivalent; 1–3 years pharma manufacturing.
  • Preferred: 1+ year sterile operation; Associate degree+ in science/technical.
• Manufacturing Associate 3
  • HS diploma or equivalent; 4–5 years pharma manufacturing.
  • Preferred: 2–3 years sterile operation; Associate degree+ in science/technical.

Physical requirements

• Lifting/moving up to 50 lbs (team lift up to 100 lbs), walking/standing, reaching, climbing, bending; stand in steel-toed shoes for 7+ hours; operate production equipment; read/follow SOPs.
