Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a GMP Cleaner for the 2nd shift to perform a variety of custodial duties in a manufacturing environment. Under supervision, you will follow SOPs, maintain clean work areas, and ensure safe operation of cleaning equipment.

The role requires 2–3 years of manufacturing cleaning experience, ability to read and follow English instructions, and strong attention to detail. You will work as part of a team and contribute to meeting quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing cleaning responsibilities require 2-3 years previous experience.
• Advanced skills, such as hard floor and carpet maintenance, six months to one year of experience.
• Ability to speak and read English is a plus and may be required by some customers.
• Must be able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a team.
• Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.

• Performs daily and periodic tasks in assigned areas as directed.
• Maintains a neat and orderly work area, including janitorial closets and storage areas.
• Performs cleaning assignments in accordance with approved procedures.
• Maintains cleaning equipment in good working condition and reports repairs.
• Wears PPE and adheres to safety guidelines.
• Meets quality expectations and assists in training new employees as directed.
• Notifies management about problems or opportunities affecting service.

Job Description Summary

The Cleaner will work under the supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor and perform a variety of custodial duties for C&W Services. Such duties shall be in accordance with established standards, instructions, and procedures of C&W Services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Other duties may be assigned. All SOPs must be followed Performs daily and periodic tasks in assigned areas as directed Maintains a neat and orderly work area, including janitorial closets and storage areas Performs all cleaning assignments in accordance with C&W’s approved procedures Maintains cleaning equipment in good working condition, and notifies the Manager or Supervisor if repair or replacement is necessary Maintains appropriate supply levels in assigned janitorial closets and storage areas Works safely always and promptly informs management about unsafe conditions existing in the work area Wears personal protective equipment appropriate for the task being performed Meets all customer and C&W Services quality expectations in assigned tasks Assists in orientation and training for new employees as directed Adheres to proper security procedures Notifies management about problems or opportunities that affect service to the customer Performs other cleaning-related duties as required

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role. The compensation for the position is: $20.83 - $24.50
