Job summary

Planet Pharma in Newark, CA is seeking an Associate, Cell Therapy Manufacturing for a 6+ month contract to support tech transfer and manufacturing readiness of cell therapy programs in a regulated biotech setting.

You will perform processes from PBMC handling to final product fill, maintain documentation, and ensure GMP compliance, aseptic technique, and safety while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet production timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Associates in relevant science or engineering with 0-2 years in cGMP biologics or cell therapy manufacturing.
• Aseptic processing in Grade A/B environments.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform cell therapy manufacturing operations following SOPs and batch records.
• Maintain aseptic technique to ensure product quality and sterility.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time per SOPs and batch records.
• Support transfer, equipment setup, and operation in GMP environment.
• Monitor and operate processing and analytical equipment in Grade B/C areas.
• Follow cleaning, gowning, safety policies and cGMP requirements.
• Assist in setting up manufacturing areas and equipment.
