Genentech’s Bioprocess Technician role sits within the Clinical Supply Center (DS Manufacturing) in South San Francisco. You will work on end-to-end operations from Solution Preparation to Downstream, aligning with GMP, Lean/Agile, and collaboration-focused behaviors to deliver quality products.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in life science or engineering; 3+ years of relevant work experience in GMP manufacturing.
• Experience with single-use technology.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation activities are executed on time and per procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement in our process to gain efficiency.
• Collaborate proactively with peers and support groups (Automation, Quality, Vendor, Facility).
• Understand Drug Substance process parameters and recognize issues.
• Escalate Basecamp recipe issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Facilitate communication and information transfer between groups.
