Job summary

The Burks Companies is seeking an Aseptic Cleaning Tech for the Day Shift (6:00 am to 2:00 pm), Monday through Friday, in Exton, PA. Work occurs inside a pharmaceutical clean room with controlled temperature, humidity and pressure to specification.

You will perform clean room cleaning, read and follow SOPs, monitor sterility of people and equipment, complete paperwork per FDA/site procedures, and support related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable GMP experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of aseptic techniques and universal precautions.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Site Supervisor or Manager, the Aseptic Cleaning Tech is responsible for providing highly technical cleaning services in pharmaceutical industries. Work is performed inside clean room where particulate, temperatures, relative humidity and pressure are controlled to specified limits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning tasks specifically in clean room environments.


• Read, understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).


• Monitor sterility of self, supplies, equipment and environment as required.


• Accurately complete all paperwork in accordance to FDA and other site specific procedures and policies.


• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Education and Work Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of 1 year of verifiable and related work experience in GMP environment is preferred. Solid understanding and practice in principles of aseptic techniques and universal precautions.

Knowledge and Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos is required. Must be dependable and meet the attendance requirements. Must be willing to work in a team environment and exhibit a high level of professionalism.
