Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. is seeking a local truck driver to safely move material and products to designated locations. You will communicate with dispatch and warehouse staff, adhere to road safety regulations, and help maintain load documentation as needed.

Under direct supervision, you will learn to operate equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and adjust to maximize production while supporting the broader team operations. Flexibility for evolving duties is essential.

Qualificações

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No prior experience required.
• Knowledge, skills, and abilities include CMV operation, certification/licensing, mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, OSHA/MSHA, and time management.

Ultimately, an outstanding local truck driver should be able to effectively communicate with customers, dispatch, and warehouse staff as well as adhere to road safety regulations at all times.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Learns to operate commercial trucks to move material and product as directed within the company guidelines and safety standards


• Uses standard operating procedures to troubleshoot malfunctions or issues


• Under direct supervision, learns to adjust equipment to maximize production


• In addition to the primary responsibilities outlined, the successful candidate may be expected to take on other tasks and assignments as required, including but not limited to duties outside the typical scope of the role to support overall team operations and organizational needs.


• Flexibility and adaptability to evolving job demands are essential.
