YKK Americas Group in New York seeks a Global Marketing Coordinator to execute marketing activities and strategies as set by Marketing Manager and senior management. The role includes maintaining global accounts, acquiring new clients, and upholding strong customer relationships while aligning with corporate goals.

You will coordinate with design, sourcing, purchasing, and QA teams, perform market research, and help drive sales strategies for international accounts, including travel as needed.

Job Summary

The purpose of this position is to carry out Global Marketing activities and strategies, as established by Marketing Manager and Senior management. Coordinator responsibilities will include but not be limited to, maintenance of currently assigned Global accounts plus acquisition and maintenance of new clients, keeping good customer relationships and following up with customer needs by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain a good working relationship with global accounts, across the organization chart, including design, sourcing, purchasing, and quality assurance. Receiving feedback and proposing new products or ideas that will contribute towards the Research and Developmental teams of YKK that may deem necessary for future developmental fastening products. This will consist of, but is not limited to; sample coordination, sourcing, sales, communication between liaison offices, and information sharing.
• Acquire and maintain detailed supply chain information on all assigned account, and establish sales targets for assigned Global accounts
• Implementation or coordination of a supply chain management strategy that will consist of forecasting products while also satisfying logistical needs by balancing with appropriate affiliates how to best satisfy delivery needs.
• Monitor, analyze and develop sales and marketing strategies for assigned global accounts, with regular and timely reports to their Direct Manager.
• Market research, analysis, and acquisition of new global accounts, which may or may not be based outside of the U.S.
• Clearly understands YKK’s global strategy concerning anti-counterfeit activities, including proficiency in recognizing counterfeit products.
• Timely reports to upper management.
• Provide “key” account management, including covering a larger and more responsibility required territory.
• Comply with YKK’s Compliance Program Including Environmental, Quality, Health & Safety, and Confidential Information Management Guidelines.

Supervision and Scope of Position

This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in related field; or 5 to 7 years of related experience in related field and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates and Licenses: Valid driver’s license

Travel Requirements: Domestic and International travel required, which could include weekends.

Compensation Data

Pay range of $75,000 to $85,000 annual base salary.
