Courtesy Chevrolet in Tucson, AZ seeks a skilled GM Transmission Technician to join our service team. You will diagnose, repair, and replace transmissions on GM vehicles, using dealer-grade tools to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience as Automotive or Transmission Technician required.
• GM dealership experience preferred.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to operate scan tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop machinery.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace GM transmissions.
• Perform drivability and transmission diagnostics with manufacturer tools.
• Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs to GM standards.
• Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs.
• Document findings, procedures, and labor accurately.
• Maintain productivity, safety, and clean work area.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace automatic and manual transmissions on GM vehicles.
• Perform advanced drivability and transmission diagnostics using manufacturer-specific tools and equipment.
• Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs according to GM standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and verify repairs.
• Accurately document diagnostic findings, repair procedures, and labor operations.
• Maintain productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.
• Keep work area clean and follow all safety procedures.
