Courtesy Chevrolet, part of Courtesy Automotive Group, is seeking a GM Transmission Technician to diagnose, repair, and service transmissions on GM vehicles in a high-volume shop in Tucson, AZ. The role emphasizes quality workmanship, warranty work, and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has prior experience as an automotive or transmission technician, with GM dealership experience and ASE certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• GM dealership experience preferred.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Able to operate scan tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop machinery.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace automatic and manual transmissions on GM vehicles.
• Perform advanced drivability and transmission diagnostics using manufacturer-specific tools and equipment.
• Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs according to GM standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and verify repairs.
• Accurately document diagnostic findings, repair procedures, and labor operations.
• Maintain productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.
• Keep work area clean and follow all safety procedures.
