Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a General Manager Trainee to learn how to run a moving and storage center. You will oversee inventory, equipment maintenance, and daily operations to ensure the facility is profitable, efficient, and safe.

The position requires 1–3 years of retail or service-management experience with P&L responsibility, strong computer and organizational skills, and a valid driver's license. Availability on weekends and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of management experience in retail or service industry with responsibility for financial results and customer satisfaction

Responsibilities

• Manage the fleet to deliver clean and well-maintained equipment
• Keep track of fuel receipts and petty cash
• Clean and monitor the premises, and maintain a secure environment
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University
