Job summary

Timbrook Automotive in Cumberland, MD is seeking an experienced GM/GMC Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain GM and GMC vehicles. You will use GM-specific tools, communicate clearly with customers, and ensure high-quality service in a fast-paced dealership environment.

The role requires 3+ years of GM-related technician experience, valid driver’s license, and ASE or GM certifications preferred. On-site, with competitive pay and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• GM Certification or GMC/Chevrolet Certification preferred.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an automotive technician, preferably with GM brands.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems and GM repair techniques.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on GM and GMC vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.

• Provide thorough and clear communication with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues and repairs.

• Work as part of a team to meet or exceed dealership performance goals.
