About the Role

As a General Manager at Torticity, you will serve as the senior operational leader responsible for driving execution, performance, and continuous improvement across the business. You'll guide high-performing teams, optimize workflows, and uphold excellence across cross-functional legal operations. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role focused on translating company vision into operational reality.

In This Role you will:

Lead Execution of Company Strategy: Align day-to-day operations with broader business objectives, ensuring consistent and effective execution across all business units.

Optimize Workflows and Processes: Oversee and enhance internal operations to increase efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction by identifying and resolving operational friction points.

Drive Financial and Operational Performance: Monitor key business metrics - including budgets, expenses, and revenue-driving activities to ensure sustainable growth and cost-effectiveness.

Implement and Manage EOS: Lead the rollout and continuous use of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), including KPI scorecards, weekly L10 meetings, and quarterly planning sessions.

Resolve Operational Challenges: Use data-driven problem-solving and structured thinking to address bottlenecks, maintain momentum, and drive accountability across teams.

Coordinate Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Technology, Finance, and other departments to align operational initiatives with company-wide goals.

Lead and Develop Teams: Oversee performance and growth of both frontline and support staff, including hiring, training, and development to ensure strong execution and high morale.

Ensure Compliance and Service Quality: Maintain high standards while ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal compliance protocols.

Oversee Client and Work Pipelines: Monitor client relationships and work volume pipelines, ensuring operational readiness and responsiveness to meet demand and growth opportunities.

Execute Strategic Initiatives: Support the CEO and executive team by leading the execution of priority projects and initiatives critical to the company's success.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Lead cross-functional collaboration and internal stakeholder partnerships across Technology, Finance, Sales, and P&C.

Business Operations & Strategic Development: For PI, establish and evolve core operational elements of a new business unit. Translate innovative business concepts into operational reality through strategic use of technology, operational excellence, and implementation of advanced business practices.

• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or advanced degree preferred

• 10+ years of business operations experience

• Experience in consulting, business transformation, or a related field is a plus

• Familiarity with the operating models with a focus on integrating organizational models and data analytics

• An analytical mindset and track record of using data to inform strategy

• A highly disciplined, self-motivated, and agile delivery-focused mindset with the ability to work independently

• Strategic, analytical, and disciplined thinking

• A proven ability to achieve sustainable results through rigorous business processes

• The ability to positively influence change and maintain a positive change management environment

• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation

• Experience with human resources modeling, leadership techniques

• Solid experience with production methods and coordination of people and resources

Compensation and Benefits

This role will receive a competitive salary, benefits, and variable compensation. The salary for U.S.-based employees in this role will be within the range listed below. Compensation is determined by various factors, including experience, location, and performance. This position is also eligible for variable compensation based on individual and company performance.
