Target is seeking a General Merchandise Expert to help guests, stock shelves, and run a smooth store operation. You will greet customers, assist with finding products, and complete daily tasks to support sales goals in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes guest-first service, teamwork, and reliability, with responsibilities including inventory replenishment, price/signing, and maintaining the sales floor and backroom, including safety adherence.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store
• Experience in retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends
• Executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
• Work both independently and with a team

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments
• Greet guests and deliver a warm, helpful interaction
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
• Support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude
• Receive products, restock shelves, organize backroom, merchandise set up and maintenance
• Follow safety procedures and store policies, report hazards
