Job summary

Ancira Auto Group, a family-owned dealership, is actively hiring Experienced Automotive Mechanics and GM Certified Technicians to join our Cuero, Texas service team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to manufacturer standards in a busy shop, delivering top-quality service.

We offer competitive pay of $20-$65 per flag hour, production bonuses, and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401k with employer match, paid time off, and more.

Qualifications

• ASE and/or GM Certification preferred (not required)
• Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Quality-focused with attention to detail
• Coachable, team‑oriented, and dependable
• Favorable driving record and ability to meet insurability requirements
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
• Drug‑free workplace (random drug testing)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle concerns accurately and efficiently
• Perform repairs and maintenance according to manufacturer specifications and dealership standards
• Complete warranty and customer‑pay repair orders with quality and efficiency
• Communicate repair needs clearly with Service Advisors and management
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety, compliance, and environmental procedures
• Stay current with manufacturer training and technical updates
• Meet or exceed productivity and quality expectations
