Faupel Automotive Group in Henderson, Kentucky, is seeking a General Motors Certified Technician to diagnose and repair GM vehicles. You will perform diagnostics, inspections and repairs using specialized tools to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate holds a valid GM certification, has proven technician experience (GM preferred), and demonstrates strong knowledge of automotive systems, problem-solving, and clear communication in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• Valid General Motors certification.
• Proven experience as a technician, preferably with GM vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• Proficient in using specialized tools and diagnostic technology.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests and address mechanical and electrical issues on GM vehicles.
• Conduct inspections, identify repairs, and provide time/cost estimates.
• Utilize specialized tools and technology to diagnose problems.
• Collaborate with technicians to prioritize and complete repairs promptly.
• Keep up-to-date with automotive industry trends and best practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following safety protocols.
