Job summary

Bowser Chevrolet of Monroeville is seeking an experienced GM Certified Technician to join our high-performing service team. You will diagnose complex vehicle concerns, perform maintenance and repairs on GM vehicles, and leverage GM diagnostic tools to ensure quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Current GM Certified Technician credentials required.
• Previous dealership technician experience preferred.
• Pennsylvania State Inspection and Emissions Licenses preferred or ability to obtain.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Strong diagnostic, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain GM and Chevrolet vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Perform routine maintenance, warranty repairs, and advanced diagnostics.
• Utilize GM diagnostic equipment and service information to identify and resolve concerns.
• Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently while meeting quality standards.
• Perform multi-point inspections and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
• Work closely with Service Advisors to communicate repair recommendations and vehicle status.
• Maintain current GM certifications and complete required factory training.
• Follow dealership safety policies, procedures, and state regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist with other service department duties as needed.
