Job summary

Modern Chevrolet Cadillac of Burlington in Burlington, NC, seeks a skilled B or B+ Level Automotive Technician to join our service team. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs, diagnose vehicle concerns, and work with GM diagnostic tools to ensure quality repairs.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle systems.
• GM experience is preferred, but experienced technicians from other brands are encouraged to apply.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• GM certifications are a plus.
• Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record.
• Dependable, motivated, and committed to quality work.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and mechanical repairs.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle concerns using proper diagnostic procedures and equipment.
• Perform brake, suspension, steering, electrical, and engine repairs.
• Diagnose drivability and electrical concerns.
• Complete repairs efficiently and accurately according to manufacturer specifications.
• Utilize GM service information, diagnostic equipment, and repair procedures.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and other members of the service team.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Continue developing your technical skills through training and hands-on experience.
