ALL ABOUT GENERAL MERCHANDISE

Experts in operations, process, and efficiency who ensure a consistent guest experience by maintaining product availability, accurate pricing, and signage. The team manages inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, and promotional signage for all GM areas, including Food & Beverage and Food Service, ensuring a fresh and food-safe experience. They also support efficient delivery through pick, pack, and ship fulfillment.

This role offers opportunities to build skills in guest service, retail fundamentals, inventory management, and process improvement. No two days are the same, but typical responsibilities include:

• Greeting guests warmly and authentically
• Understanding guest needs through body language and conversation
• Engaging with guests and asking questions to assist them better
• Knowing store tools, products, and services to solve problems and enhance experiences
• Expressing gratitude to guests for shopping at Target
• Maintaining the sales floor with proper signage, pricing, and stock levels
• Prioritizing workload based on business and guest needs
• Executing inbound, replenishment, backroom, and signage processes
• Following operational procedures and safety protocols
• Supporting guest services like cashiering and digital fulfillment
• Performing other duties as needed
