ALL ABOUT THE GENERAL MERCHANDISE TEAM

Experts in operations, process, and efficiency who ensure a consistent guest experience by maintaining product presentation, stock levels, pricing, and signage on the sales floor. The team manages inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, and promotional activities across all GM areas, including Food & Beverage and Food Service, providing a fresh and food-safe experience. They also support fulfillment through pick, pack, and ship processes.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Create a welcoming environment by greeting guests authentically.
• Observe guest body language and verbal cues to offer assistance or interaction.
• Engage with guests to understand their needs and provide solutions.
• Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to enhance guest experience.
• Express gratitude to guests and acknowledge their shopping choice.
• Maintain zone integrity, stock levels, signage, and pricing accuracy in GM areas.
• Support inbound, replenishment, and signing processes.
• Execute operational tasks such as pricing, presentation, and inventory accuracy.
• Understand operational procedures like planograms, product capacities, and sales floor management.
• Operate power equipment only if certified.
• Follow safety and compliance policies, including safe equipment operation and hazard identification.
• Support guest services, including cashiering and digital fulfillment, while maintaining compliance with laws.
• Perform other duties as needed based on business requirements.
