Job summary

Sheboygan Paper Box Company in Sheboygan, WI is seeking a dependable Gluer Inspector / Packer to join our Finishing Department. You will feed materials, inspect quality, and pack finished cartons, with opportunities to advance into operator roles through training.

This hands-on position requires a mechanical mindset and a team-oriented approach. The role is 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 10:00pm-6:00am) with compensation of $21/hr plus a $1.50/hr shift premium.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Willingness to learn and operate finishing equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and reliability are highly valued.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Feed materials and pack finished product on folder/gluer and window machines.
• Rotate hourly between feeding, inspecting, case making, and palletizing duties.
• Inspect cartons for defects and ensure only quality product moves forward.
• Stop and start machinery and assist with clearing jams safely.
• Read job tickets to understand requirements and specifications.
• Assist with carton repairs, hand stripping, and flat packing when required.
• Pack finished product accurately at the delivery end of machines.
• Enter job activity into the PDE system and complete required paperwork.
• Perform basic material handling and relocate loads within the department.
• Support training of new employees and uphold safety standards.
