Job summary

MitchellChamber is seeking an experienced operator to manage producing and maintaining gluers and related equipment in our converting operations in Mitchell, SD. You will oversee line performance, interpret standards, perform minor maintenance, and lead crewmembers with a focus on quality, safety, and SQF compliance.

Responsibilities include supervising staff with minimal direct supervision, ensuring equipment readiness, testing products, and maintaining documentation of standards.

Responsibilities

• Operates gluers and peripheral converting equipment and owns product outcomes.
• Interprets and documents equipment and product standards.
• Maintains equipment and performs minor repairs.
• Leads assigned crewmembers.
• Supervision for the role is random and minimal.
• Performs equipment operations, adjustments, tests, and conversions.
• Motivates crew to ensure quality, safety, and SQF standards.
• Tests products to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Communicates product and work standards for production.
• Performs minor maintenance and authorized modifications.
