Global Workplace Lead
About the role

We’re looking for a Global Workplace Lead to build and scale the workplace experience that enables Replit to do its best work. You’ll own the strategy and operations for our global offices, creating environments that are welcoming, high-performing, and built to support a rapidly growing, distributed company.

This role combines hospitality, operations, real estate, and execution. You’ll be responsible for everything from day-to-day office operations to long-term workplace strategy, ensuring our physical spaces reflect our culture and help our teams collaborate effectively.

You’ll partner closely with People, Finance, IT, Legal, Security, and Executive Operations to create workplaces that scale alongside the company.

In this role you will
  • Own the global workplace strategy across all Replit offices.

  • Lead day-to-day workplace operations, ensuring every office delivers an exceptional employee experience.

  • Develop scalable standards for office operations, hospitality, facilities, and workplace services.

  • Manage office budgets, vendor relationships, and service contracts.

  • Oversee space planning, office expansions, and new office openings.

  • Partner with Finance and Legal on lease management and real estate planning.

  • Drive workplace health, safety, emergency preparedness, and business continuity planning in partnership with Security.

  • Build operational processes that improve efficiency while maintaining a high-quality employee experience.

  • Hire, develop, and lead Workplace Managers and Office Managers as the organization grows.

  • Partner closely with IT to ensure offices are equipped to support modern, AI-native ways of working.

  • Use data and employee feedback to continuously improve the workplace experience.

  • Support executive events, company offsites, and key in-person moments.

What we’re looking for
  • 10+ years of experience leading Workplace, Facilities, Office Operations, or Real Estate in a high-growth technology company.

  • Experience managing multiple offices across different geographies.

  • Strong operational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Experience managing budgets, vendor negotiations, and facilities contracts.

  • Excellent judgment and the ability to balance employee experience with operational efficiency.

  • Proven experience building scalable workplace programs and processes.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Comfortable operating in fast-changing environments with a high degree of ownership.

Bonus points
  • Experience supporting rapid international expansion.

  • Experience designing flexible workplace strategies for hybrid organizations.

  • Familiarity with physical security, business continuity, or crisis management programs through cross-functional partnership.

  • Experience leveraging AI and automation to improve workplace operations.

You’ll thrive in this role if you
  • Love building systems that scale.

  • Care deeply about creating exceptional employee experiences.

  • Sweat the details without losing sight of the bigger picture.

  • Can seamlessly move between strategic planning and hands-on execution.

  • Enjoy solving operational problems before anyone else notices they exist.

  • Build strong relationships across every function in the company.

At Replit, you’ll help shape the environments where our teams collaborate, innovate, and build the future of software.
