Job summary

Safra National Bank of New York is seeking an senior operations leader for Internal & External Transfers, wires, and middle office functions. You will direct end-to-end wire processing, SWIFT activity, investigations, and back-office controls while driving risk management, scalability, and resilience.

You will lead managers, set cadence for performance, and work with Technology to modernize platforms, improve controls, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in banking operations with deep wire transfers/payments experience
• 3+ years in a leadership role overseeing managers
• Strong knowledge of wire controls and regulatory expectations
• Proven track record delivering system/process enhancements and UAT
• Excellent executive communication across product, tech and risk

Responsibilities

• Own performance for wires and back office: throughput, cutoffs, repairs, and client satisfaction
• Set operating cadence including daily/weekly performance reviews and risk governance
• Provide coaching to managers and ensure strong frontline leadership
• Define and maintain procedures, approvals, and segregation of duties
• Lead multi-quarter roadmap for wire/middle-office modernization with tech partners
• Drive regulatory readiness and audit remediation across the portfolio
• Represent wires in governance forums and collaborate with cross-functional teams
