Job summary

Zeeco is seeking an experienced Senior Welding & Materials Engineer to act as a Technical Manager overseeing welding and materials engineering. This role involves leading technical direction, compliance with standards, and providing global support for welding processes.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 8-12 years of experience, with responsibilities including investigation of nonconformities, vendor support, and travel requirement of 25-30% globally.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in welding and materials engineering.
• Strong knowledge of ASME, ASTM, and AWS standards.
• Experience in failure analysis and root cause investigations.
• Preferred: Certified Welding Engineer (CWE) or PE license.

Responsibilities

• Act as company-wide authority on welding and material engineering.
• Oversee welding-related technical matters and global fabrication support.
• Develop, review, and approve WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, AWS, API codes and standards.
• Lead metallurgical evaluations and failure investigations.
• Investigate nonconformities and lead root cause analysis.
