Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior technology leader to define and execute the Wealth Services technology strategy, aligning with enterprise objectives and regulatory requirements. The role drives architecture and development of a cloud-native platform supporting accounts, trading, settlement, custody, and reporting, with API-first and event-driven design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of technology leadership experience in wealth management, custody, clearing, brokerage, or financial services platforms.
• Proven success delivering large-scale platform transformations and complex integrations.
• Expertise in cloud architecture, APIs, distributed systems and cybersecurity.
• Experience integrating third-party books and records platforms such as Apex Clearing.
• Experience leading global teams across multiple regions.
• Managing strategic vendor and partner relationships.
• Supporting large-scale client onboarding or platform migration programs.
• Experience with introducing broker-dealer operating models.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute Wealth Services tech strategy.
• Lead architecture of a scalable cloud-native platform.
• Drive API-first and event-driven designs for real-time processing.
• Lead integrations with third-party clearing/custody providers.
• Modernize core platform: transactions, accounting, compliance.
• Ensure compliance with SEC, FINRA, AML, KYC, OFAC.
• Advance AI, automation, and analytics to improve operations and client experience.
• Lead a global engineering organization for delivery, reliability, scalability.
• Partner with Product, Operations, Risk, and vendors.
• Manage technology investments and vendor relationships.
