Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Warehouse Procurement Manager for AWS Cloud Logistics. You will lead sourcing, procurement, and contract operations for global contract logistics and warehousing services, and partner across finance and operations.

The role requires analytical mindset, 5+ years in supply chain, proficiency with Excel, SQL, Tableau; MS degree preferred. This is a full-time on-site role with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of supply chain management, planning, strategic sourcing, commodity management or program management experience.
• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, etc.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing, procurement, and contract operations for global contract logistics and warehousing services.
• Establish annual financial plans and create operating rhythms to measure execution vs established targets.
• Build and manage operating rhythms to simplify and automate business processes to ensure compliance with agreed terms and reduce procurement lead times.
• Draft contractual requirements in cooperation with business partners which encourage continued customer focus deliver reduced service costs.
• Manage supplier relationships including contractual negotiations, service performance, capability development.
