Job summary

Arconic is seeking a Global Wide Area Network Engineer to join our IT Network Team based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role designs and maintains core to edge network architecture and SD-WAN, ensuring reliable connectivity across sites.

The candidate will lead network projects, perform troubleshooting, document procedures, and collaborate with vendors. A bachelor's in CS/IS/Networking and 5+ years of network management are required; CCNA is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or networking.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in network management.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implementation of core to edge network architecture and routing protocols.
  • Operational support of data network including troubleshooting routing and switching issues.
  • Operational support of SD-WAN infrastructure.
  • LAN/WAN responsibilities including IP address management and documentation for growth and sustainability.
  • Education and training of other individuals within the company regarding network routing.
  • Engineering and support of other systems supported by the Data Network Organization.
  • Document troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures for hardware and network problems; assist in establishing system configuration database.
