Job summary

Apple Information Security seeks a Vulnerability Response Manager to lead a security engineering team across the United States and EMEIA. You will drive vulnerability discovery, analysis, and remediation while overseeing on‑call rotations and strategic tooling initiatives.

You will manage researchers, coordinate disclosure processes, and partner with engineering leadership to strengthen Apple’s security posture across a broad surface.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in information security with vulnerability management, web app pentesting, and incident response.
• 3+ years of people management leading security engineers.
• Hands-on web app security and secure coding in Python/Go/Bash.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools at enterprise scale.
• Experience with bug bounty / vulnerability disclosure programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a geographically distributed team across US and EMEIA.
• Own continuous vulnerability response including on-call escalation.
• Drive proactive assessment with penetration testing and large-scale scans.
• Manage external researcher engagement and report validation.
• Guide security tooling and automation for vulnerability tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and leadership to align priorities.
