Join Siemens Healthineers as Vice President, Informatics Solutions Portfolio and lead the global strategy, portfolio development and commercial performance for diagnostics informatics. The role provides end‑to‑end ownership of the product roadmap, business model, and market positioning for the Informatics portfolio across the Diagnostics business line.

Position Summary

The Vice President is the senior internal authority on diagnostic informatics, digital workflows, data platforms, interoperability and analytics. The VP translates customer and market insights into a winning portfolio, platform, and go‑to‑market strategy, partnering with R&D, Digital & IT, Commercial, Medical, Service and Zone leadership to deliver profitable growth and establish Informatics as a strategic growth engine.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the global Informatics portfolio strategy, lifecycle management and P&L.
• Develop a multi‑year roadmap covering platforms, applications, data services, AI/advanced analytics, interoperability and digital solutions.
• Position Informatics as an independent growth engine with clear value propositions complementary to instruments, reagents and services.
• Set portfolio priorities, trade‑offs and balance global scale with regional market, regulatory and workflow needs.
• Lead competitive analysis and create platform narratives, playbooks and enterprise‑level selling strategies.
• Partner with customers, market research and real‑world data to refine portfolio direction.
• Design global go‑to‑market strategies including segmentation, targeting, positioning, pricing architecture and launch excellence.
• Work with commercial leaders to influence enterprise deal strategy, bundling approaches and value‑selling in competitive accounts.
• Guide Informatics R&D, platform architecture and data strategy through customer‑centric requirements and trade‑off decisions.
• Lead global launches, performance management and continuous portfolio optimisation.
• Develop and inspire a high‑performing global Informatics and product marketing organization.
• Drive alignment across a global matrix organization, influencing without authority at the executive level.

Qualifications & Expertise

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in diagnostics, IVD, healthcare IT, digital health or medical technology, with global product, platform or portfolio strategy responsibility.
• Deep, hands‑on expertise in diagnostic informatics, healthcare IT, digital platforms, data analytics or AI‑enabled solutions; strong knowledge of Core Lab and enterprise lab workflows preferred.
• Demonstrated success building/ scaling global platforms or solution portfolios and competing against top-tier industry players.
• Track record of partnering with R&D, software, data science and digital teams to deliver differentiated, profitable solutions.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, judgement, executive presence and a bias for action.
• Experience leading and developing cross‑functional global teams within a matrixed organization.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
