Job summary

Armada is seeking a VP of Data Center Operations to lead global data center strategy, reliability, and performance from a remote-based role across the continental US. The position partners with engineering and executive leadership to set strategic roadmaps, improve processes, and ensure customer-ready deployments while driving cost efficiency and risk management.

The role requires extensive hands-on leadership of mission-critical facilities, with a focus on scalability, safety, and governance

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership in data center operations or related industries.
• 10+ years of executive or senior leadership experience managing large-scale operational organizations.
• Experience leading globally distributed teams and mission-critical environments.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Advanced Engineering degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the long-term vision, strategy, and operating model for data center operations.
• Oversee a global data center portfolio and 24x7 mission-critical operations.
• Drive operational excellence, reliability, and incident response capabilities.
• Lead capacity planning, budgets, and vendor relationships.
