Job Description
Revalize Software seeks a highly motivated and forward-thinking Global Vice President of Legal and Data Protection to lead the global legal function. Reporting to the CFO, this role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented PE-backed software company. Responsibilities include managing the legal function—covering commercial contracting, corporate governance, risk mitigation, and security—as well as legal due diligence and integration for acquisitions. The VP will also serve as Chief Privacy Officer, ensuring compliance with global data privacy laws and safeguarding sensitive information.

The ideal candidate will communicate effectively with executive leadership, lead a legal team, manage multiple projects, and execute deliverables efficiently. Strong leadership, proactive involvement, and business acumen are essential. Experience in a global, results-driven environment is required.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage contracting processes for sales, including negotiation, drafting, and review of complex commercial contracts such as software licenses, service agreements, and partnership deals.
  • Drive standardization and continuous improvement of contract terms.
  • Provide legal guidance to cross-functional teams on risks and compliance.
  • Lead legal integration of acquired entities, ensuring policy alignment and seamless transition of contracts and IP assets.
  • Oversee corporate secretarial matters and ensure legal compliance across jurisdictions.
  • Implement and improve privacy and security policies and controls.
  • Assist with employee agreements, including equity, offer letters, and separation agreements.
Qualifications:
  • J.D. degree and license to practice law.
  • At least 10 years of legal experience, including 3 years in a leadership role managing a global legal team; experience with German law is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of corporate, commercial, intellectual property law, and contractual principles, especially related to cloud-based technology agreements.
  • Experience in privacy strategy, policies, and training programs.

Travel is expected.
