Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Product Safety Manager to lead pharmacovigilance activities for the animal health portfolio. You will analyze adverse event data, manage signals, and collaborate with PV and regulatory teams to ensure global safety compliance.

With a DVM or PhD and 5+ years in animal health, you will mentor teammates, review complex data, and present findings to senior stakeholders. Travel up to 10% is expected as part of global collaborations.

Qualifications

• DVM or PhD or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years in clinical veterinary practice or animal health.
• Ability to evaluate large databases and extract datasets for business needs.
• Experience interpreting regulations, guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze and interpret adverse event data for products.
• Lead technical review and interpretation of scientific data for assigned products.
• Coordinate signal management and risk assessment activities.
• Prepare data reports for internal, external customers and regulators.
• Train and mentor junior team members and cross-functional partners.
