Job summary

Goodwin's Global Operations Team is seeking a Director of Strategic Vendor Management to oversee the strategic vendor portfolio and governance, ensuring alignment with procurement, service delivery, and business outcomes.

You will own executive relationships with major vendors, drive performance via scorecards and SLAs, and lead the Vendor Management Office across offices and travel programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in vendor management.
• Experience in procurement and outsourced services.
• Strong leadership and governance skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as executive relationship owner for key administrative and operational service providers.
• Develop and maintain long-term vendor strategies and roadmaps.
• Evaluate opportunities for vendor consolidation, optimization, and service enhancement.
• Partner with firm leadership on vendor-related strategic initiatives.
• Establish and manage vendor scorecards, KPIs, SLAs, and performance standards.
• Lead quarterly business reviews and executive vendor meetings.
• Monitor vendor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and oversee corrective action plans when service levels are not met.
• Provide leadership for the Vendor Management Office and oversee sourcing, contract administration, and risk management.
• Oversee travel vendor relationships and service delivery.
• Support contract renewals, negotiations, and business cases.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains.
• Provide regular reporting to leadership on vendor performance, risks, and opportunities.
