Blue Yonder Title: Global Value Delivery Director - Retail

Location: Virtual within the US

Travel: Domestic and International travel up to 70% expected

Overview

  • Blue Yonder's Transformation Advisory team seeks a results-oriented supply chain professional to lead value-based engagements, discovering, enabling, and expanding customer value from Blue Yonder solutions.
Scope
  • This individual will support various value-based engagements, creating thought leadership for C-level executives to define supply chain strategies, processes, and transformation roadmaps, supported by compelling business cases and value propositions for Blue Yonder solutions.
  • Utilize value engagements to drive Blue Yonder sales revenue.
  • Work with current and potential retail customers across the Americas and globally.
  • Research prospects to define engagement strategies and assist in account planning with sales teams.
  • Be part of a ~25-person global Transformation Advisory team using a value-based, consultative sales approach with proven methodologies.
  • This is an individual contributor role that involves collaboration and guidance for the team regarding core responsibilities.
What you'll do

Research client and prospects effectively

  • Conduct financial and operational data analysis to identify supply chain performance improvements.
  • Research regional markets and industry dynamics, challenges, trends, and competition.

Build financial models

  • Create value propositions, business case, and ROI models for Blue Yonder solutions.
  • Maintain data repositories and develop tools for financial analysis.

Lead Strategic Opportunity Assessments (SOAs)

  • Support site surveys, interviews, and workshops to understand customer objectives and processes.
  • Develop hypotheses on business issues, analyze data, benchmark performance, and develop transformation roadmaps.

Lead prescriptive Point of View workshops

  • Conduct discovery, develop prescriptive practices, and prepare presentations with proof points and business impacts.

Support Strategic Impact Assessments (SIAs)

  • Quantify delivered value, analyze progress, and identify improvement opportunities.

Overarching responsibilities

  • Stay ahead of industry best practices, act as a domain expert, and support sales in building proposals.
What we are looking for
  • 8+ years of supply chain experience in retail.
  • 3+ years in value-based engagements in software, SaaS, and consulting or retail practice.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes in retail.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Action-oriented, collaborative, with a strong customer focus and ability to engage with C-level executives.
  • Educational requirements and certifications as specified.

Salary & Benefits

The base salary range is $170,000 - $180,000 USD plus a variable component. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage, 401K matching, flexible time off, fitness programs, and voluntary benefits.
