Job summary

Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases is seeking an experienced Applications Engineer for the NEAT group to prepare proposals for engineering-to-order turbomachinery based on customer specifications and international standards. You will collaborate with engineering, sales, and customers to ensure accurate, compliant bids and on-time submissions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience required.
Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar software preferred.
Specific oil and gas industry experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Work with departments to ensure proposals submitted meet requirements for delivery, documentation, testing and technical requirements.
Work with sales personnel to ensure customers are provided required information.
Communicate with customers to answer technical questions and respond to bid clarifications.
Ensure on-time submission of proposals.
International and domestic travel to support customer meetings as required.
Preparation of order book for orders received
